We are a financial technology company developing a platform focused on innovating the transaction processes for complex financing transactions. Our platform will revolutionize capital raising and trading to create new value in the financial ecosystem.

 

We are currently operating in stealth mode, discussing collaborative partnerships with major financial institutions, companies and others in the finance ecosystem. We have secured investments from major financial technology investors, including a global financial institution and are commencing a beta launch of our platform with a few global financial institutions and companies.

 

 You will be collaborating with our CEO and others, including our head of front-end engineering and head of analytics, to design innovative, dynamic, interactive interfaces, features and frameworks in which to show deconstructed, digital data from complex finance documents.  Although we have a design strategy and ethos for our Platform we are looking to collaborate with a designer who wants to further iterate, create and refine the designs to ensure that we effectively and creatively communicating complex structured and unstructured data from multifaceted finance documents using a proprietary extraction framework we have developed and are continuing to refine. 

 

We are looking to push the boundaries on how sophisticated professionals in the investment banking ecosystem review, analyze and calibrate data and documents.  In addition, the role also includes the following responsibilities:

 

·         Responsibility for all UI/UX aspects of the Platform

·         Development of design prototypes as needed 

·         Icon designs/Webpage design

·         Liaising with potential users, working closely with the CEO, to undertake focus groups, user scenarios and workflow and task analysis 

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years’ experience from a design agency or in a design/creative team from business/commercial environment.  In particular, the candidate will have:

 

·         Experience with customary design tools such as Axure RP, Adobe CC, Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq, Morae, Visio, Quark Express

·         Experience with operating systems – Windows, Mac OS X, Linux/Unix

·         Experience working with common project management tools and Agile development workflow

·         Ingenuity, creativity, drive and determination

 

The role is not remote and will need to be based in Manhattan, New York or Austin, Texas.

Salary Range $165k-$185k; equity allocation for the right candidate
